Whom the tabloids have joined, let not God presume to sunder. Mrs Michael Woodward, the Bride of the Crimper, as the News of the World called her on page four, will always really be "Sonia Sutcliffe", the bride of the Yorkshire Ripper, as she was on page one, where the paper broke the story that she had married her hairdresser, thirteen years after her first husband was sentenced.
This was a story full of the difficulties of establishment. Mrs Sutcliffe divorced her husband three years ago.
